If I could have moved things around a bit, I probably would have pulled the picnic table away from the tree, but this is the way I walked upon it. The old log home was built in 1850 and sits near the Haw River. I love how the planks were hanging on the tree to provide a way up. I'll just bet that some good memories were made on this old tree.
